Outdoor Exhibits & Historic Campus
At the entrance of the Western Museum of Mining & Industry campus sits a prominent landmark known as the Reynolds Ranch House— a Victorian style farmhouse which is included on the State Register of Historical Properties. Reynolds Ranch House tours are available on Mondays at 2:30pm; reservations required.
At the TOP of our campus, you’ll find our Blacksmith Demonstration Building, which is modeled after the Orpha May Mine's Blacksmith Shop. It offers a unique opportunity to see and learn about the fascinating art of blacksmithing. This building is open only during our Summer Family Day events or by special appointment.
Don't miss the operational "Yellow Jacket II" Stamp Mill, historically used for the process of breaking down ore in search of GOLD. This building is only open in the summer, during regular hours or by special appointment.
