Outdoor Exhibits & Historic Campus
At the entrance of the Western Museum of Mining & Industry campus sits a prominent landmark known as the Reynolds Ranch House— a Victorian style ranch home which is included on the State Register of Historical Properties.
At the TOP of our campus, you’ll find our Blacksmith Demonstration Building, which is modeled after the Orpha May Mine's Blacksmith Shop. It offers a unique opportunity to see and learn about the fascinating art of blacksmithing.
Don't miss the operational "Yellow Jacket II" Stamp Mill, historically used for the process of breaking down ore in search of GOLD.
The Reynolds Ranch House, Blacksmith Demo Shop and Stamp Mill are all available during Summer Family Days or for touring by pre-scheduled appointment. For more information or to arrange a special tour, please contact the museum at 719-488-0880.
