Preferred Vendors
We created a "preferred vendor list" to help make your event a stress free day. We understand how difficult and time-consuming it is to look for the right vendor at the right price. Contact our Events Coordinator for the full list.
We do not require that you use our suppliers from our list. If you have vendors you would like to use, please submit their names and information for pre-approval.

Decorations
This is YOUR special day. Decorating is encouraged and allowed (although we will need to see and approve an outline of your plans to make sure they will work with our historical property and county requirements)
Think lights, flowers, lace & tulle, music...perhaps you envision additional space or tents on the campus property. Of course, you will love the rustic charm and beauty of the Reynolds Ranch House Complex just as it is! We invite you to come take a tour so you can envision the potential.

Food and Beverages
Food and drink need to be brought in for your event. We do have refrigerators and a beautiful restored bar area, along with ample space for food or bar trucks, but there is no oven nor stove at this time.
Do we need to hire a bartender?
All large events that are serving alcohol must have an insured bartender serving the alcohol for the time of the event.
Is there a requirement for food service?
You are free to bring in your own food and servers. Catering companies and food truck operators must be approved by staff prior to the event. We try to be flexible to your desires, but your plans must be in writing and approved by our team.
We do have long, buffet tables for indoor or outdoor use, along with "Cable-Spool" tables for outdoor use.
You will need to provide your own table-settings, including: plates, flatware, glassware, linens or napkins, and table cloths.
our goal is to help you create your perfect event. If you have ideas, let us know, we will try to accommodate your plans.

Audio, Visual and Wifi
We are happy to work with your DJ or Band to accommodate their needs. If you are not having a DJ, you are welcome to plug in your own playlist. Please keep in mind we are a historical site with some restrictions and limitations.
We do have a screen to project your videos or slide shows, and wifi.
We highly recommend a signal booster, and please be sure to work with our team in advance to ensure success on the day of your event. Different areas on campus have different wifi and electrical capabilities, let's be sure you test everything before your event.

Getting Started
We are so excited to work with you! Answers to some of the basic questions you may have are listed here, but we encourage you to call or email Jaime, our Events Coordinator. She is on site Monday - Thursday, and Saturdays from 9am - 4pm at tel:719-488-0880 or via email at Rentals@wmmi.org
When can I see the property?
The museum property is open Monday - Saturday 9am - 4pm. To gain access to the Reynolds Ranch Complex (Ranch House, Historic Hay Barn, Ore House) we do need advance notice...so please contact us in advance to set a time.
When are deposits required?
We have limited weekends for hosting weddings, we recommend you put down a deposit as soon as possible. This is an important day, you will want to be sure you have all of your required paperwork in order. We will help point you in the right direction.
Are wedding planners required:
No, but we do ask that you designate a point of contact (not the bride or groom) to attend some of the planning meetings to be sure they understand your desires and how to work with the set up of the Reynolds Ranch Complex.
Do you have staff to help with set up and break down?
Our staff will set up tables and chairs for your ceremony and reception sites as well as basic clean-up as outlined in the contract. Clients are responsible to clean up venue area, place trash in receptacles, and gather all items they have brought in. Food and Drink MUST be removed that night (we are a 27 acre ranch-style property).
We look forward to hearing from you, thank you for considering our historic Reynolds Ranch Complex at the Western Museum of Mining and Industry in beautiful northern Colorado Springs.
Congratulations!
We look forward to being part of your special celebration.
